EXCEL MARCO AWARDED CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION FOR TUAS DESALINATION PLANT PROJECT

Excel Marco has been presented a Certificate of Appreciation by HSL Constructor Pte Ltd for the successful completion of the Tuas Desalination Plant Project. Excel Marco supplied the Process Control System Integration Services and Intelligent SCADA for the Plant.

Tuas Desalination Plant officially opens on 4 July 2018 ahead of Singapore International Water Week 2018 (SIWW). The new facility produces 30 million imperial gallons a day (136,000 m3/d) of desalinated water, about the same as SingSpring Desalination Plant, Singapore’s first, but has nearly half of the older plant’s footprint at 3.5 hectares. The new plant is the first in Singapore to adopt advanced pre-treatment, comprising dissolved air flotation (DAF), and ultrafiltration.
