ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL MILESTONE FOR FPSO OSX-2 ICSS

Excel Marco successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for FPSO OSX2 Integrated Control Safety System (ICSS). This Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) FPSO, chartered by OSX Brasil S.A. (OSX) for its customer OGX Petróleo e Gás Ltda. (OGX) will be deployed on oil fields in the Campos basin, offshore of Brazil. This is a series of projects which consists of different phases in which SBM has secured Phase 2.

The project comprises of 4 major parts, namely Process Control System (PCS), Process Safety System (PSS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) and Fire and Gas Detection Systems (FGS). Excel Marco’s work scope on FPSO OSX-2 includes design, testing, shipping and installation for the ICSS. This project reiterates the healthy working relationship and continual co-operation Excel Marco have with SBM.
