EXCEL MARCO JOINS MEDTECH MANUFACTURING CONSORTIUM

The MedTech Manufacturing Consortium, spearheaded by the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), a research institute of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), was launched at a signing ceremony on 13 October 2009. The consortium, currently made up of 26 members, will reinforce industry capabilities and establish medical technology R&D platforms for technology and knowledge transfer by collaboration with research institutes, value chain partners and MNCs.

Mr David Ong, Managing Director of Excel Marco, said: “We are excited to be a member of the Consortium and look forward to leverage on SIMTech’s initiative to target a growing market that requires our services in the IT applications and automation industry for medical technology.”
